Kate organizes campaigns to promote clean air, clean water, clean energy and public lands in Maryland. Kate lives in Baltimore, where she enjoys exploring with her dog, gardening and cooking.

Starting in January 2021, plastic bags will be banned and stores will charge 5 cents for paper bags in Baltimore City. Environment Maryland Research and Policy Center is working to make sure everyone who needs a bag has a bag, and we need your help to come up with a design and to spread the word!
